Applications and Information
Post 16 Applications
Our brand new prospectus and course guide for September 2025 are now available to download at the bottom of this post.
Applications will be accepted following the open evening and the application form will be uploaded to this page. Applications can be brought into the reception at Belfairs Academy, FAO Post 16 Office or they can be emailed in to our enquiries email address, subject: FAO Post 16 Office – Application.
All year 11 Belfairs students will be invited to an interview with our Senior Leadership Team, Director of Post 16, or Assistant Director of Post 16. They will receive sound and unbiased careers advice and should they wish to make an application to Belfairs, will be able to submit their application upon interview.
Confirmation of applications from external students will be made by phone or post with a formal discussion date for the New Year. All external students will be considered for applications and their success will not be based upon performance during this discussion; this is a chance for the Academy to get to know the student and review the course choices made. References will be sought from their current education provider and any information on SEND provision should be discussed to make sure we are able to support all the needs the students may have from day one. Belfairs endeavour to honour all suitable applications. More information for external students can be found in our admissions policy in the ‘PARENTS‘ section of this website.
All students will need to meet the overall entry requirements to study our level 3 pathways in addition to specific requirements for individual courses. These are outlined in our prospectus.
If you have any questions, please contact the Post 16 office on ext. 205 or via email at p16office@belfairsacademy.org.uk
